Beige Jacquard Trench Coat, Rea
The Rea Jacquard Trench Coat in Beige is a woven jacquard trench at 340 grams per square meter that keeps the heritage 1879 trench architecture: storm flaps at the shoulders, a gun flap, a snap-front closure, a self-tie belt, snap sleeve tabs, and an inverted back pleat, in a knee-length line. It is built for spring and fall transitional weeks, daily executive wear in a moderate climate, business travel, and the softer ceremonies.
Fabric
Woven jacquard at 340 grams per square meter, with storm flaps, a gun flap, set-in sleeves with snap tabs at the cuff, a self-tie belt, a single-breasted snap front, and an inverted back pleat. A jacquard pattern is made at the loom, woven into the cloth rather than printed on top, which is why it survives the years of wear that a printed coat does not. The Rea pairs that woven texture with the heritage trench architecture for a coat that is more than a daily coat and quieter than an evening one. Jacquard takes longer to weave than a plain cloth and costs more per yard. Handcrafted in the Luna atelier in Pozarevac, Serbia, in limited batches. Designed in Europe. Ships from California.
Fit
The Rea is cut in a fit-and-flare trench silhouette. For a defined waist, tie the belt at the natural waist. Between sizes, take the smaller. Snap-front closure, set-in sleeves. Refer to the Luna sizing guide for measurements. Model is 5 foot 9 inches wearing size 2.
Styling
Open over the Lucy Draped Blouse in Ivory tucked into tailored beige trousers for soft-formal daytime dressing.
With the Barbara Wide-Leg Pants in Black and the Barbara Button Wrap Shirt in Classic White for warm against cool at restaurant arrivals.
Carried with the Melissa Structured Shoulder Bag for business travel, a structured bag against the trench line.
Or over the Aria Short-Sleeve Blouse in Ivory and tailored taupe trousers for soft-formal dressing on a warm day.
With the Agatha High-Waisted Wide-Leg Pants in Ivory for cream and beige executive daily dressing.
Keep the metal tone consistent: gold and pearl read warm and traditional against the beige jacquard; silver shifts the look modern.
Care
Woven jacquard at 340 grams per square meter. Dry clean only. Brush after every wear, especially after rain. Hang on a wide padded hanger to keep the trench silhouette. Cedar bags during summer storage. Steam or iron on low if needed. Do not bleach.
