Fabric
Polyester crepe with five percent elastin for controlled stretch that holds the bodice line through a long seated dinner and a standing reception. The matte black surface absorbs light cleanly, so the pavé crystal bar at the waist reads as a single point of jewelry rather than competing with the fabric. The removable ostrich-feather collar clips into the V-neckline at both shoulders and traces the V at the front and the back; the connection sits flat against the seam, so the dress reads clean when the collar is off. Fit
True to size through the bodice and natural waist, with princess seams shaping the body and a fitted sheath line through the hip. The hem sits at the knee with a small center-back vent for stride. A concealed back zipper finishes the V-back neckline without interrupting the silhouette. Between sizes, choose the smaller for a closer line at the bodice or the larger for more ease at the hip.
