Teal Floral Jacquard Light Coat, Emma
The Emma Light Coat with Teal Floral Jacquard is a light transitional coat in black jacquard with metallic threads woven into a teal floral pattern, closed with hidden press buttons and belted with a self-tie at the natural waist. A shirt collar, long sleeves, and a hem that finishes at the knee. It is the coat for the weeks when wool reads too heavy, for theater and gallery arrivals, and for the woman who wants the photograph to show more than a coat that kept her warm.
Fabric
Jacquard with metallic threads (90% polyester, 10% metalized fibers), a black base with the teal floral woven in at the loom. A jacquard pattern is woven rather than printed; the Emma takes that one step further, with the metallic threads woven in as well rather than applied to the surface. The teal floral shimmers softly under restaurant and event lighting and survives years of wear without flaking. The lightweight construction sits close to the body rather than weighing on it. Hidden press-button closure, self-tie belt, and a tailored fit-and-flare silhouette. Handcrafted in the Luna atelier in Pozarevac, Serbia, in limited batches. Designed in Europe. Ships from California.
Fit
The Emma is cut in a fit-and-flare silhouette and most clients take their true size. Size up if you prefer more ease through the bust or plan to wear it over a heavier piece. Hidden press-button closure, self-tie belt. Refer to the Luna sizing guide for measurements. Model is 5 foot 9 inches wearing size 2.
Styling
Over the Aria Jumpsuit in Black for a black and teal evening arrival where the jacquard reads against the clean, architectural bodice.
Over the Lucy Jacquard Midi Dress in Midnight Blue for deep-color evening dressing, teal and midnight blue sharing the same cool palette.
Open over the Lucy Draped Blouse in Ivory and tailored taupe trousers for soft-formal daytime dressing.
Carried with the Jody Lace Clutch Bag in Black for theater and gallery arrivals, black echoing the base of the coat.
Or over the Charlotte Elegant Midi Dress for a fuchsia and teal contrast at restaurant arrivals and benefit evenings.
Keep the metal tone consistent: silver reads modern against the teal jacquard; gold shifts the look warmer and a little more traditional.
Care
Jacquard with metallic threads (90% polyester, 10% metalized fibers). Dry clean only. Steam or iron on low if needed. Do not bleach. Mill-woven metallic threads do not flake or fade under normal wear. Hang on a wide padded hanger; cedar bags during summer storage.
